About Us

American Wound Care is a woman-owned company founded in 2011 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  We specialize in providing advanced wound care, surgical dressings, tracheostomy supplies and external post-mastectomy products.   

AWC serves patients and healthcare professionals throughout the Gulf Coast, including Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and the Florida panhandle.  AWC works directly with hospital wound centers, burn units, outpatient surgery center and community health centers to collaboratively support improved healing outcomes.

American Wound Care also provides educational, compliance and product training for healthcare clinicians in the wound care field.  We additionally have patient education programs for the prevention of lower leg ulcers.
